Urban Café: Discussion about design concept of Stepan Bandera street

International experience in street landscaping: Vienna, Amsterdam and Leipzig.

Asphalting the Bandera street as a topic for discussion was raised by all three experts – German urbanist, one of the coordinators of the project “Street for All” - Stefan Gabi, Dutch expert in field of urban planning – Kees Van Ruyven and lecturer from Lviv Politechnic University – Anton Kolomyeytsev.

Main topic of discussion: street greenery. The most important one, according to expert’s opinion, is to plan it in harmony and it should emphasize key historical objects in the street.

Creating of public spaces in the street should be universal and adapted to the needs of every citizen.

Participants of Urban Café have suggested to decrease number of SAFs and trade points, which are located within the street, to create bus stops longer and cycling paths more accurate.
